USDA to test more strains of E.coli in beef
The US Department of Agricultural (USDA) will soon test six more strains of E.coli in raw beef, in an effort to improve food safety. Currently, E. coli 0157:H7, which is the most common type of bacterium, is tested by USDA inspectors at meat-packing plants.
